1. Have you ever felt the need to bet more and more money?

2. Have you ever had to lie to people important to you about how much you gamble?

Answering “yes” to one or both questions indicates a gambling problem may be present.

NOTE: Although these questions are not clinically used as much anymore, they are still important
for the person with a gambling problem to consider.
